While proper architecture and coding are the base for any secure solution, no code is perfect and operational control such as web application firewalls are a must for proper protection of web applications. However real knowledge about the capabilities of WAFs is scarce and usually originates from vendors. At Xiom we try to provide clear and balanced information about web application firewalls.
